MEET THE OWNERS
BRAD AND KARINA
A documentary style wedding photographer and videographer based in Adelaide, South Australia with over 600 weddings of experience between them have combined forces to deliver the ultimate experience for their couples.
They’re not just a team, they're best friends who found their passion for capturing weddings together. Their journey began in 2018 when they first met at a wedding, and they've been inseparable ever since.
In 2024 they decided shooting weddings together exclusively was a no-brainer, they have a blast and share the same documentary style and know exactly how each other works which means their couples don't have to worry about finding a photographer and videographer who click – they've already got that covered.
They're all about capturing genuine moments and ensuring their couple’s experience is both enjoyable and effortless.
Where it all began…
In July of 2023 Brad & Karina nervously posted their very first episode of the ‘Everything but Weddings’ podcast.
Every photographer and videographer has an ‘about us’ page, but there are very few that have a video podcast, so they thought… why not try something different?
The goal of the podcast was to be themselves and have authentic conversations to show who they really are.
Their expectations for people having an interest in what they had to say were very low, but once they started posting they were blown away with the response.
Over 5,000 Instagram followers, 3,000 TikTok followers, and over 8 million views between the social accounts… they were blown away!
How it’s going…
During the filming of the first 18 episodes of the ‘Everything but Weddings’ podcast in 2023, Brad and Karina had seperate businesses. Brad ran a wedding videography business 22 Wedding Films and Karina ran her wedding photography business K Photography.
After the short sprint of running the podcast for 4 months, Brad and Karina started a new wedding season and had to put the brakes on the production of the podcast.
It only took a few weeks before they received countless messages asking them to bring the podcast back and received an overwhelming response from new couples wanting them to document their wedding together.
This is what ignited the Brad and Karina brand.
